DescriptionFrom the short 5 page story "Up Close And Fursonal" by Zac Gorman and Jay Fosgitt. I've included the story in the additional images. This page features the first appearances of Earth-8311 (Spider-Pig's home world) versions of Miles Morales and Ms Marvel. It is the birth page of both Moles Morales aka Spider-Mole and Hss Marvel! The dialog in the digital word bubbles has a fun reference to Spider-Pig. This story is also their first date which predates their Earth-616 date that just happened in Spectacular Spider-Men #3 in 2024 8 years later. Jay does a fair bit if his work digitally for the past several years but thankfully he physically penciled this issue. Moles Morales and Hss Marvel recently reappeared in the 2024 Spider-Ham A Pig In Time graphic novel as members of the Scavengers. There was a brief character named Moews Morales in Spider-man Annual #1 (Vol 3, 2019) that was in two panels.When I flipped through Jay's portfolio and asked what this page was and he told me it was Moles Morales aka Spider-Mole I burst out laughing! Super adorable fun page and I knew I had to have it. I love the Spider-Verse but rarely stumble on pages I'd want in the wild so this was a rare find for me. Social/Sharing |

A rare modern day look at Spider-Ham's corner of the Spider-Verse that we had not seen much of since the Peter Porker title ended.
