DescriptionOriginal Art drawing of Batman confronting a giant insect creature, done circa 1990's for the production of the all-time classic Batman the Animated Series. It is a great production drawing of the Dark Knight in the classic Bruce Timm style, done in pencil, blue pencil, and green pencil, with numbering that likely indicates the scene this would have been prepared for. The full sheet measures approximately 10 1/2" by 9 1/2", and is 3-peghole animation paper (1 round, 2 rectangular). It has the gold embossed WB Production Art seal for authenticity. It is in very good condition, with small pinholes at the top left edge, and in the middle right margin edge. This does not really show in the scan, so please be aware of this. This is an outstanding rare vintage piece of Warner Brothers magic, and a magnificent example to own from one of the most influential series featuring the legendary DC Comics character. It would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and would be a key addition to any Bat collection.Social/Sharing |
