DescriptionA great Half Splash of Thunderstrike (Thor's "twin" in looks - but not power) and Spider-Man from 1994 issue 6 of Spider-Man Unlimited.Here is the description from ComicLink. i couldn't compare to the level of detail they have for this piece. I omitted the individual character descriptions. Ron Lim provided pencils for this 1994 half-splash that ran in Spider-Man Unlimited #6. It starts out with the villain Hydro-Man getting upset at a mobster named Frankie after he's let go from the mob's services. Hydro-Man uses his water-based powers to put Frankie in his place. The page then cuts to a large splash panel featuring Spider-Man and Thunderstrike, a mortal named Eric Masterson who has Thor-like abilities. The huge, high-impact Thunderstrike image really pops on the page. Note: The word balloons and text boxes on this page are paste-ups. About the Artist Ron Lim has been exciting audiences with his work on cosmic Marvel characters for over 30 years starting with his run on Silver Surfer which began in 1988. Lim worked with Thanos creator Jim Starlin as writer. Lim and Starlin reintroduced Thanos to a new generation of fans in Silver Surfer #34 and then worked on all three of the epic crossovers featuring the Mad Titan, Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War and Infinity Crusade. Lim also illustrated 'Thanos Quest', a mini-series that set-up the events of Infinity Gauntlet. In recent years, Lim has been providing variant covers for various Marvel one-shots, mini-series and event comics. Social/Sharing |

It rocks as Lim was doing these double sized quarterly issues at the height of the 90's boom and we get the one off stories and team ups! The half splash is definitely worth it with Thunderstrike coming right off the page!

Thanks for pointing Thunderstrike out. Of course Thor and Thunderstike.. look the same. I decided it would be a good idea to read the comic after your post. Fixing my description now. I could have just checked out the cover, also!
