DescriptionI am big, big Simon and Kirby fan, and also a Captain America fan. So when I got my first original art of Captain America by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby I felt my collection was complete. I just could not see how I could add anything to my art collection that could stand up to what I already had. And so for the last year and some months I have not picked up any pieces. Of course the financial hit from purchasing the S&K Cap also has played a part on that. Do not ask me if it is for sale. It is not, at any price. I know they say that you can't take it with you when you die, but I think I am going to try.Since the original post was time sensitive (that is only valid for April 1), I add an amendment. I do not own the original art for the cover of Captain America Comics #1 and what I posted here is not the original art for that cover. Social/Sharing |

I knew the other guy was playing hardball. I'm glad to see that you were able to previal at the end!
This will pair sooo nicely with your Marvel Comics #1 cover

Not only historical, but a terrific fighting scene. One of the best.

Posting this on April 1 makes me more than a little suspicious. If I'm wrong, then wow!
If I'm right, then nice Photoshop work.

These forgeries are pretty interesting. As if he actuall knew the size of the logo.

You fooled me with this as I do not keep a track of dates. Makes my original suggestion more viable and will cause less annoyance to your family; burn it and get cremated yourself, then get the ashes mixed together before being turned into a diamond. You and the art, together for eternity, proving you can take it with you when you die.

Oh, Harry...you had me for a sec there. Luckily I've arrived on 4/4 vs 4/1! In any case, great to see the image here!
