Description

This is Matt's signature take on Basil Wolverton's 1940 sci-fi comic, Spacehawk. Some wonderful Cankor style and flair is applied to the character here, and the end result is something that would fit right into the universe. Now that's a one shot idea for you, Cankor Meets Spacehawk. Gives me the space worms just thinking about it! :)

It might be a static image, but with this much energy to the inky Kirby Krackle, it looks like the background is animated!

All the Allison tenets on display! The rendering of the right arm is crazy. Love the Krackle background, too. Congrats!

Fantastic! What a stunner of an image! Gorgeous work by Matthew Alison! I love the way Alison really took the 1940's character and updated his look for a new century. His surprise at the new arm growing from his body is hilarious. The use of Kirby Krackle is a nice addition. Great pick-up, congrats!
