Description

The infamous Hawkwind Spaceship by Colin MacNeil.

Colin drew some of the most revered stories for 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine and has evolved his style time and time again. This ship was constructed whilst listening to Hawkwind which is one of my favourite bands. Anyone who knows the band's sound would attest that the image would be a fitting cover to one of their works.

The additional picture shows Colin's digital colours.

Looks more effective in the black and white if the ship is travelling through the darkness of space. You really feel the element of speed from the brush line.
