I've been looking for a piece from Jonas Scharf. His style with rich, dark inks is perfect for these darker, grittier characters.

I saw Marvel tease this issue with this design online and I was excited to see that it was later used for a What if… Venom # 3 variant cover, which hit comic shops April 24, 2024.

Love the cowl design, so clever to make his cape collar into an organic looking Venom mask. Another concept design winner. Congrats! :)

Good thing about these is that they are the easier incentive ratios that make it accessible for more people to appreciate them on the books. Another unique What If? design for a one-off that is so good that it's destined to return.

Trippy how the collar covers his face...then when pulled back reveals that symbiote-y grin we all recognize! Looks extra creepy on Strange, though :) Another worthy add to the concept design collection, George, congrats!
