Description

At either the first or second convention I ever attended, Archie Goodwin signed my copy of Marvel Age Annual #1 on the page covering the Epic Comics line (since Goodwin was the Epic Comics editor at the time), and he drew one of his little self-portrait cartoons. I regret that I didn't have any of Goodwin's other comics with me at the time, but I was new to convention-going...and I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to meet him.

Great guy. Back in the day, he would have signed as many as you'd put in front of him since he knew that's part of his job even though it really wasn't.
