if you're not familiar with Johnny Ryan's work then shame on you.
i had a Marvel themed sketchbook and a Marvel one.
i gave him the choice and he said "whatever, they're equally shitty" or something to that effect.
so since marvel had more room i handed him that one. again, i love it when an artist uses the preprinted elements of the paper and incorporates it into the work.
i think it came out quite lovely.
for whatever reason my wife had this book on her and was showing it to a coworker and this is the page she happened to open the book to when showing it off.
