Description

Here's a recent inking commission over blueline pencils on board by Ian Richardson for client Damon Owens. It's Marvel's western characters but positioned like the film pic from the legendary The Magnificent Seven from Damon's "West Wing"-themed commissions gallery. The line-up, from left to right: Red Wolf, Two-Gun Kid, Kid Colt, Rawhide Kid, Reno Jones, Ringo Kid, and Outlaw Kid. Damon asked me to tweak the mask on Two-Gun Kid but inexplicably in my mind he wanted me to add a mask to Rawhide Kid, one of the few that doesn't wear a mask. So I took a pic of the page after he clarified the request and I apologized. I whitened out half of TGK's head to redraw it and used a blueline past up of Rawhide's face area. Ian rendered this in 2020 and I finished it in ink April 29, 2024.

It's commission #121 for Damon, my 7th for his "West Wing" theme and my 7th commission over Ian Richardson.
