Cool guys don't look at explosions, they blow things up and they walk away.

And Shawn is undoubtably one of the coolest guys. He crafted this illustration for me to help make up for a very mild snafu, and really went above and beyond. The Force is definitely with Shawn, and also with his most excellent rep, Sean over at Athenaeum Comic Art. For the very best in modern, independent comic art, you need look no further.

I absolutely love this depiction of Vader in Shawn's own style, looking totally badass, and the juxtaposition of the stylized character set against the photorealistic backdrop really blew my socks off.

When I got my Black Cat piece, I had never even heard of this guy. But I thought it was a cool looking piece. And honestly, I still don't really know who he is. But here's another cool looking piece. Love that fiery background and the flow of the cape.

Smooth Vader cuts an expert silhouette

I don't believe I ever saw him without an art grail in his hand
And no one swings as hard as this big bad snafu man

Now he strolls through the city like a big ol' Daley cat
With his pinstripe suit and a big bad voodoo cap

Action movie walk away! I thought Cage in Con Air :) I dig on the figure how you got that pinkish purplish lightning from the sabre! Congrats!
