It's hard to remember to context of this series now, but at the time it just felt... different. The art was unlike anything we'd really seen before, they brought in a big name writer, and the mood was really thick with dread. This splash really gets that feeling across.

Really great as they turned Gotham into a prison! They keep playing fast and loose with maps of Gotham through the years until this series where it was vital to the story. Rare earlier Maleev before he went to more digital approaches.
