DescriptionThe best thing to come from Invasion! was the LSH prequel L.E.G.I.O.N. '89. As good an ensemble book as DC has produced. It's the kind of book that would struggle in today's market but flourished in the 90s.This page (and it's sequential) are prime examples of what made the book work. Great, distinct characters. Varied and shifting motivations. And terrific art from Kitson and McKenna. I'm likely forgetting something but I think of this as Barry's breakout book. These pages feature Lyrissa, Stealth, Garryn, Strata, and the Durlan to wonderful effect. Bought these from Georg Shell when he was graciously parting with several pages from the book.
