DescriptionStar Wars: Knight Errant - Deluge #4 Pg. 5Art by Iban Coello Written by John Jackson Miller The last of (and probably the best / my personal favorite - love that rain effect!) the beautiful blue penciled pages I have to post by Iban Coello from the Star Wars: Knight Errant - Deluge series from Dark Horse Comics. In this page from issue #4, Jedi Knight Kerra Holt finds her childhood friend Joad while trying to help other Aquilarians evacuate during the massive storm on Aquilarius Minor. Joad had found some deluge spice on the street left behind by Captain Jenn Devaad of Devil Squadron. This is immediately concerning to Kerra as he brings up harsh words his friend had spoken to him previously. On the next page we find out that Joad has turned things around and throws the spice into the torrid waters, he picked it up for the purposes of destroying it, not using it. Kerra is proud of the progress her old friend has made. Joad gives credit to Kerra for keeping him and their people focused. Social/Sharing |

Wow, I can see why this one is your favorite. The moody atmosphere is perfect. Congrats - great page!

All that deluge spice will be lost in Aquilaris, like tears in rain. Time to fly.

Wooh!
Oh, girl
Blame it on the rain, yeah, yeah
Blame it on the Stars, War!
You said you didn't need her
You Joad her goodbye (goodbye)
You'd evacuate with squadron
To satisfy your Knight
Now you wished that you should Kerra (had her)
And you feel like pencil blue
You'd better bought a page
Now it just don't feel the same
Gotta blame it what's spoken (gotta blame it on something)
Gotta blame it what's spoken
Blame it on the rain that was fallin', fallin'
Blame it on the Stars that didn't shine Errant
Whatever Deluge, Joad put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain, yeah, yeah
You can blame it on the rain

Have I ever said how much I love blue pencil? This and the previous three pages you posted are perfect examples of why. This is really spectacular line art and the blue color is just SO nice!

Another great acquisition, Kavi! I guess you and Jeff own all of these Iban pages? I'm regretting not grabbing an example when some of them appeared on eBay...
