Description

I ran across this original cover one day and it struck my that Bo Hampton would be a great artist to recreate it. Bo's fantasy and sci-fi work are stellar. So I asked if he was interested because I wanted him to only do it if he thought it was fun.

I have dealt with Bo a lot and I really not only think he is a great artist, but a good guy as well, so I asked him to not to slavishly follow the cover but to have fun with it. Bo enjoyed doing this commission and it shows.

The result is amazing. He made some different color choices that are more vibrant and we discussed making the captive girl less of a damsel in distress from the original.

Super happy with the result.
