DescriptionTalk about a memory jolt, I've always found Toth's animation work to be particularly cool.A lot of Hanna-Barbera works aired before my time but I grew up watching plenty of reruns. Birdman included and immediately this ship model sent me back to the living room CRT. The ominous shape and the boom like device that extends from it! Really quite happy to have an example of AT finally and one that hits so close to home. You can watch the episode here: The Purple Moss Social/Sharing |

Ship design in scifi is one of the coolest aspects in visual design / animation / etc. And to have one from Alex Toth, that's pretty damn cool - congrats!

Toth designed the show's look from top to bottom! These exciting ship designs were based on reall life science and reality of the time during the space race!
