DescriptionI bought this page and the preceding page directly from P. Craig Russell.Here is what Craig had to say about these pages: "The Terrible Awful Very Unpleasant Death of Jagreen Lern. A two-fer in which Elric of Melniboné along with his sword Stormbringer makes a gruesome dispatch of his mortal enemy. I was particularly happy with the 12 panel solution illustrating the sword’s slow feasting. It was done almost entirely through lettering sound effects, each sound effect suggesting the many and various ways the sword was moving and cutting while showing only a single panel of real violence. I felt the two pages should remain together." These pages come from the last Elric story and are more than a quarter century old. Social/Sharing |

Very cool that it goes off panel and unseen to be left to the imagination. Much like it would be if written only in prose.
