Description

My first Herb Trimpe published Hulk page, picked up from Heritage.

Per Heritage description: "Slight toning, trimmed corners, tape on the top edge, residue staining from a missing stat art paste-up, marginal notes, whiteout corrections, and light creasing/handling wear."

Staining from the glue doesn't particularly bother me, as long as it hopefully doesn't get worse. I admittedly have not read this but I gather this the top panel is not the published image if the stat is missing.

Major congrats on your first published Trimpe Hulk page! I love the classic feel and the yellowing just adds to that.

Pretty nice! Wear the imperfections as a badge! Hulk in bondage is a rare sight!

Yup, definitley looks like a stat up top that fell off. But you got the art underneath, which is great! The glue doesn't bother me much, either, but there are restorers that can get some of it off. Congrats on getting your first Trimpe Hulk page, man - that's big!

Hard to beat a Herb Trimpe Hulk page! Herb did an incredible job during his long run on the Incredible Hulk. He kind of set the bar other artists have to pass in order to be considered great Hulk artists. Look at the marvelous job he did on this page. I love that top panel even if it was pasted over--Probably the editors wanted a tighter version to get even closer to the Hulk. Anyway, congrats on picking up your first Herb Trimpe Hulk page! Bet it won't be your last!

Trimpe is a must in any Hulk fan's collection. Congrats on your first, and possibly the first of many to come. I agree about the discoloration, it doesn't bother me.
