Description

I had a commission piece that Dave had created of Cerebus climbing the tower and I thought that it might be interesting to strip out Dave's version of the tower and take out the tone and send the image of just Cerebus to Gerhard to see what he could do with it, since this was how he would usually receive art from Dave (floating figures that Gerhard would then place in the world of Cerebus).

Ger took the digital file I sent him, printed it on to a paper that he likes to use that can handle both ink and paint, he worked out all of the correct perspective - and he even added Mick�s and Keef�s horseless/stranded carriage.

He then inked the tower and lastly he painted the whole piece as if it were a long lost cover. The Cerebus is Dave's image transferred to a watercolour paper used by Gerhard, which is why I included him as one of the artists.

The page is 11x17 with an image area of 10x15.5.

Signed by Gerhard in the bottom right border.
