Description

This splash page was first used for page 1 of issue 134 with different text and the original image of birds reflected in the window (see additional image).

A redrawn section (that removed the birds and replaced Jaka's hair) was lightly pasted overtop, with new text added to the bottom right, and was then used for page 20 in issue 138. You can see the original drawing without the paste-up below.

This is a beautiful melancholic piece that bookends the last section (134-138) of Jaka's Story. You can frame it as is, as page 20 for issue 138, or you can remove the paste up portion and frame it as page 1 from issue 134, with birds in flight - it just wouldn't have the text as it appeared in print...but you can always print and scale the text from the book, that's up to the new owner.
