Here's the perfect complement to my ASM 23 cover by JRJR! That cover showed Spidey in costume without mask and MJ, and this one shows Spidey in costume without mask and Gwen Stacy! I love how JRJR drew Gwen in this one, and the contrast in her clothes between the darker shirt and the lighter jacket/skirt... You can instantly recognize her... But wait, wasn't she dead? What's going on? It makes you pick up the comic and read it! Another great addition to my JRJR Spidey collection!

Gwen is so nice that even Professor Warren couldn't let her go! A lesson in love lost and the inability to move on. JRJR and Hanna strike a nerve with the more mature readers who have suffered a lost love in their lifetime with this very emotionally moving cover.
