Very cool offbeat request! This reminds me of Chaykin's Power and Glory series with the big star and the heroic jaw line.

If Howard doesn't know the character, Howard doesn't draw it. So he was a pass on any Amalgam character. It took several cons (and Mark Waid) to help me wear him down. Guess what? It's fantastic. I'd love to see Howard do an Amalgam book now.
