The Punisher #81 story, "Bodies Of Evidence" continues!!

Sgt. Cordover and Officer Generes approach Lucille Stander aka "Lolita", a lady of the night, in the seedy red light district of old in NYC, to question her about the murder of her pimp, Stolarz aka Stolly, as she begins to recall the encounter with Punisher that led to his death.

I love the whole page, the way it's inked, and Lolita's facial expression in panel 3. But the standout for me is that final panel, where Frank Castle/Punisher appears again in the issue for the first time since the Page 1 Title Splash and you get to see a highly detailed street scene of something out of NYC history that you can't really find anymore IRL (not that that's a bad thing ha). The reflections of the city buildings on the back of the car window is also a nice detail.

I vaguely recall going to the city in the 90s as a kid / teen and still coming across "areas" like this in Manhattan / Times Square adjacent etc. but then the internet happened and the city evolved to be more family friendly/oriented.

This is a great editorial style page filled with great line/ ink detail. The story and inks really drives the interest and makes me want to know what happens next

As always, I like Nguyen's Kevin Nowlanesque inking style. I love Lolita, but that big dude's mustache is hella cheesy. Point in fact, Montreal was also once a very "gentleman's entertainment" city with strip clubs all over the downtown strip!
