Description

This is an awesome SIGNED and numbered limited edition mid 1970's fine art print for a comic art gallery Neal Adams exhibition, featuring a classic image by one of the most legendary comic artists of all-time, who is of course best-known for his classic Bronze Age work on Batman, Deadman, the Brave and the Bold, and Green Lantern / Green Arrow. But he also did some classic work for Marvel Comics, notably on the Avengers and Conan, and this print features a truly stunning image of the legendary Sword and Sorcery Cimmerian hero. The detail is simply incredible, and features a classic straight-on image of an axe-wielding Conan bloody and battered, but ready for more fighting action! The print measures approximately 12 5/8" by 17 1/2". It is in good overall condition, particularly considering its age (around 50 years old!), but please note it does have some wear that needs to be noted. You should be able to see in the scan that there is very slight water marking in the "A" in Adams. It looks like it got very slightly wet at one point, which didn't really water damage the paper, but was just enough to slightly mark the letter. There is also some handling wear crease indentations around the edges in a few places. It was also rolled at one point, so the edges curl up somewhat, but this could probably be flattened out or would not show if the piece were framed or matted. Items signed by Adams have become increasingly hard to find, but a signed limited edition print with a truly classic image is particularly special, particularly a very low number 6 out of only 100! Don't miss out on this great piece, which would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed.
