Description

I always say that Invasion (outside of multi-media like Super Powers and Super Friends) introduced me to the wider DC Universe. I am forever fond of Invasion. It has two of my favorite things put together, Super-Heroes in Outer Space!

This page (from a beloved Spinner Rack comic) has a nice 9 panel grid featuring Maxwell Lord and Oberon of the JLI, wheeling and dealing with Lex Luthor (a distinct snapshot in time with his mechanical hand)!

Saladino and Joe
And Invasion worlds never Lex them alone

Traded Max's soul for Bart's work though

I remember buying and reading Invasion, but remember nothing about it other than the art. I was a big Bart Sears fan at this time, so it was cool to see him drawing a big event series. Your excitement about it almost makes me want to try reading it again!

9 panel layout ftw!! Great looking art on the page, love the Lex look with the mechanical hand. I never read Invasion but it looks interesting, congrats on yet another spinner rack era nostalgic find!
