DescriptionAccording to Bob Layton he did this cover and then was told by Valiant that they didn't have the rights to use Vin Diesal's likness so it wasn't ever used. However there was a very simular cover published (see attached image)Social/Sharing |

Layton's love affair with Barry Windsor-Smith's style was certainly neverending!

And thus Layton would not approve Vin Diesel to star in his movie years later... I'm guessing. If they showed it to Vin, I think he would have kept the art.
