DescriptionAn A+ portrait of Carnage from the 90s and perhaps the best looking page from either of the Carnage one shots of 1996 (Mind Bomb and It’s a Wonderful Life). Hotz's take on Carnage was unique for the period, and his talent for design shines when he superimposes horror elements onto classic superhero genres. The comic was written by David Quinn (Faust) who wove a mature and grotesque story detailing the inner workings of Cletus Kasady’s mind, which also reveals much of Kasady’s origin as a killer (something that was also trickled out over the Carnage Unleashed storyline). I kept returning to this piece for a while. Now, I finally have it in my collection and it's everything I could ever want in a Carnage piece: superbly detailed, a transformation page, and just plain terrifying. Hotz used a brush to ink this and every little detailed notch pops from the page (and no whiteout, like a badass). Social/Sharing |

Sick! Very bold with a grossout look of horror that was popular in the 90's.

All it needs is some green goo and a pair of Nike's and it will be fully complete.

Hotz' art was/is perfectly suited for both Venom and Carnage.

Unapologetically edgy! I have very fond memories of discovering this comic. Congrats!
You know you're in for a good time when it has "For Mature Readers" on the front!
