Description

What's a girl to do after she has seen all her friends die, then has killed all her enemies in retaliation, and finally hurtled back to Earth as a meteor? If you're Domino Drake, you awaken on the shores of your family's beachside lighthouse, wonder if it was all a dream, and then reunite with your parents.

This would make a great origin story for a super villain, but it was not to be; the series ended here until Marc Guggenheim's 2018 revival series "Swashbucklers: The Saga Continues" resurrected the dead heroes for another round of derring-do.

The top panel on page 31 attempts to tie up the outer space story, suggesting that a popular uprising in the Colonizer Empire led to a just and peaceful society. It doesn't usually work out that way on Earth, but who knows? We don't have a POV character left in space to tell us how things actually panned out.
