Description

In the final main storyline page of Captain America #374, Diamondback shows her true colors when she pushes John Jameson to safety and takes a hail of bullets in his stead. Luckily, her jacket is lined with kevlar and she's okay. This storyline is why Diamondback will always be my favorite of Captain America's great loves.

The page takes stoytelling cues from movies with quick edits of small focused panels until it becomes the climactic big panels that allow us to linger on it and the aftermath longer.
