DescriptionJust a nice Dan Day page from the 1984/85 series from Eclipse Comics. There was a ton of unique and creative work from Eclipse and Pacific comics. The Independent books never caught hold in that Era as Marvel and DC had such a stranglehold on the industry. This made those ventures more for the love of the product for the creators then the money.Social/Sharing |

The 80's were definitley a prime era for b&w indies with high quality work that rivaled the big two. They took advantage of direct distribution and was able to have higher cover prices for better presentation and more intensive artistry. Aztec Ace was one of those titles from Eclipse and this features Dan Day and his very meticulous work that kept the title off schedule. Advneture, sci-fi, and a whole lot of fun!
