DescriptionA couple days ago, I posted a stunning Amazing Spider-Man cover by Mike Deodato Jr.Although I like everything Mike does, in my opinion some of his very best work was when he drew Wonder Woman in the '90s. I acquired this Wonder Woman #97 page early in my collecting career, sold it, and then happily reacquired it later on in an auction. Here we see Artemis (who has temporarily replaced Diana as Wonder Woman) faces off against a big baddie. Social/Sharing |

Artemis by Deodato always looked ravishing. So much energy exploding off this page, not to mention sexiness!

This was a the short lived 90's trauma event for the Wonder Woman title. It lasted less than 10 issues making them rare as Deodato brought the bad girl sex appeal all the way to issue 100. You might as well condsider that Artemis is fighting the Hulk as Deodato would go on drawing a few issues of the Hulk later on.

I thought it as Namorita for a sec up top :) I'm comment catching up and the switch from Marvel to DC caught me off guard, lol! Nice depth up top, and overall, a great '90s action page. Congrats!

AAAH, those were the 1990s.. Jim Lee + Co style with long legged-comic-girls and all guys were build like the Hulk :)
