Description

This one required breaking the bank, but having Wolverine (Meggan) on the rooftops of Madripoor with such compositional skills was just too good to pass. Plus you have a bonus "snikt" straight from the early 90s.

Leonardi is drawing this Wolvie like a cat prowling the rooftops like Batman, only super buff for late 80's. Maybe Meggan manifests this form because she sees Wolverine this way.

Leonardi's jsut one of the best and this is a great example. Got those organic lines, the storytelling, action, expressions...it's got it all, as they say! Them Milgrom inks ain't too shabby either :) Congrats!

Wow! What a stunning Excalibur page by Rick Leondardi and Al Milgrom! I love this scene of Meggan prowling the rooftops of Madiporr. Gorgeous layout by Leonardi. I love how the panels follow Meggan from long shots to medium shots to closeups--The whole thing is very cinematic! Of course, Meggan's discovery of the differences between her and Logan are fun and played for laughs. Fantastic inks by Al Milgrom, who gives this page a very nice look. I especially love the inks on the top three panels, where Al uses thicker inks on Meggan, creating a more dramatic scene. Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!
