first wizard world of texas!! i think they put on an incredible show! guest of honor was Jim Lee and i believe Kevin Smith. i don't remember if Jim was announced but his last minute signing was a surprise. everyone in line got a sketch! the way he did it was you picked a character, he penciled it, did some inks, then give you a sharpie and filled in the black spots, then gave it back to him to finish. in my memory the line was well over 100 people before they capped it. those days are gone for a treasure like jim. right place, right time. only bad part was the paper i had on me was super crappy. mine came out ok but i gave a sheet to my buddy and jim was complaining about how bad it was. he made a joke about it on my buddy's sketch but luckily kept mine pretty pure.
