Description"...OH GOD."Oh God, indeed, Peter. The Goblin is back and boy does he look bad ass! Never had much success with art drops but I sure hit the jackpot this time. Since reading the issue, this one has been on my radar and I was determined to make every effort to get it on the wall. I even had to skip a fishing trip after realizing that I probably couldn't convice Ed to move the drop date. :p While there were a bunch of awesome pages in the issue, this one really stood out to me as the climax of Norman's reveal. It had been a long buildup but he finally donned the mask, returning an all-time great villain to active duty status. I did not embrace the Good Guy Norman storyline but I followed it, much like people watching NASCAR just for the crashes. The reveal was well worth the wait though, a great read. You certainly knew it was coming from the cover, just not the when or the how, and it delivered big time. The fight scene that followed was pretty spectacular too. So psyched. And not just for adding my first McGuinness/Farmer pages to the collection but by doing so with such a large and impressive looking Green Goblin. All jacked up & ready for action, double fisting pumpkin bombs, and that grin... I love it! Thanks to Ed & Mark for creating such a memorable image. And thanks for taking a look. To the framery! Ya just can't keep a good Goblin down. Fantastic DPS by the unconquerable Ed McGuinness and Mark Farmer creative team!

Huge congrats, Brian! One of the most iconic shots of the GG ever and that's saying something. What a moment and what an image to ring in the return of Spidey's biggest and baddest foe. He's flying right out of the DPS frame! Congrats!

OMG! Absolutely phenomenal DPS from the amazing team of Ed McGuinness and Mark Farmer. I am blown away by this image of the Green Goblin! I love the distortions McGuinness and Farmer used here to make it seem like the Goblin is bursting off the page. By exaggerating the Goblin's head and arms, they really achieved the effect of making his return so much more explosive! McGuinness's pencils are perfect and Farmer's inks add even more depth to the art with the thicks and thins of his inkwork. Stupendous pick-up, congrats!

What an absolute gem of a DPS, as well as a great reminder of how talented McGuinness is. Everything about Gobby's posture to his manic energy makes this one sing, yet it's important to acknowledge the little things like the broken window and smoke trail that come together to tell the whole story.

Thanks, I'm a fan of the little things on this one too. The smoke trail with that residual boom ring was a really neat touch, I thought. The little jack-o-lantern faces on the buttons of the gobbie purse was another. I actually hadn't noticed them until I was getting it framed.

The details are gorgeous, of course. But I also love the sense of depth and motion. Also can't leave without mentioning the great Farmer inking.
