DescriptionMy first Mike Deodato Jr Hulk page was from the issue after this and though I've been able to pick up other pages from that storyline, I haven't been able to grab another with the Hulk in it until recently. Deodato Jr was imo, at the peak of his artistic work during this time. Not sure if it was because he inked it himself, because it was a fun story on the Incredible Hulk book (most likely), or simply his style at that point aligned with my tastes the most. But his art on these issues were absolutely amazing to me, hence the reason I grabbed so many pages sans Hulk that I typically wouldn't.Either way, enjoy Hulk smashing a Krill (i.e. baby xenomorphs) and a guest spot from Doc Samson! Agreed regarding him inking himself - total unique command of light and shadow! Raging top panel! Congrats!

Oh man is this a hell of a pick-up. Deodato's work at this period was so good (And I think still the best run of Hulk covers ever) and this is such a phenomenal example of it. Huge congrats on this one, T. I'm a bit jealous (in a good way)!

Incredible top panel, but the high contrast lighting in the bottom two panels is also fabulous!

Wow! Deodato powered Hulk is enough to carry the page! He's got the phsysique of jagged rocks like the manifestation of the chaotic anger within!

Mike Deodato Jr was born to draw the Hulk. I agree, during his run on Hulk, he was at the top of his game ... though I think the same about his run on Wonder Woman and Elektra. Let's face it, Mike Deodato is a "top of his game" kind of guy. But man, the top panel of this page ... fantastic! Major congrats.
