DescriptionMark Bagley Spiderman???? Whose gallery is this?? Well if you’ve looked at the art all you see is X-men lol.. this sweet DPS I picked up in the last CAF Live and couldn’t be happier.. like everyone my age Bagley is one of the second wave of Marvel artists , and one who at this point has had an incredibly successful career so I’ve always admired his work. The image on this immediately caught my attention with a huge more than a full page splash of Angel avoiding a very well drawn military helicopter.. then the additional panels include one of my faves nightcrawler and Ultimate Deadpool (who was introduced in this story arch I believe) . Danny Miki does his usual wonderful job on the inks over some impressive and at this point more seasoned bagley pencils!Social/Sharing |

I'll admit when I first saw the title of the post I was confused but then I saw the X-Men goodness on the page. I love USM and am always looking at/for the art from the series and this is a great example from one of the several Ultimate X-Men crossover arcs which are all really enjoyable. This Deadpool arc was especially fun with that Hunger Games style reality show battle stuff going on. Great pickup Jason!

I mean, always awesome to see and get an Angel flying page, particularly in splashy DPS format, like here. Add the action scene of a 'copter firing him and him having to dodge?! Yes, please! Congrats, man!

I really enjoyed Bagley's art in Ultimate Spider-Man, and this is a perfect example of why! I love that Angel panel!!! Congrats!!
