Description

Wonderful felt-tip pen rendering of Astérix by his creator, drawn in 1973 for Jean-Christophe Huet, the son of French cartoonist Jean Ache (1923-1985), who worked for the weekly magazine PILOTE alongside Albert Uderzo in the early 1970s.

(Purchased from the original dedicatee on July 29, 2024. A zillion thanks, Jean-Christophe!)

Nicely done feathery soft linework like a pencil piece. Classic image with the charming smile.
