Whooaaa! This reminds me how great Image comics were in the '90s! I actually remember this book-- Avengelyne! It only ran for a couple of issues but they were gorgeous. Looking at the art now, I think the concept still holds up pretty well. John Stinsman's art certainly still looks great. (Although I love the black and white inked pages more than the color ones). Look how amazing Avengelyne looks with the elaborately inked wings and the cool sword with the swirling lightning around it. That top 2/3rds splash is killer! Somebody smart should grab this property and revive it! Great pick-up on the art by the way. This is one cool page.
