Description

This artwork is a nice time-capsule back to the 1970s when there were in popular culture mad scientists cloning humans to create an army of clones.

Here we have Dr. Strangefellow the famous (mad) scientist and incredible genius but having just a pretty simple idea: getting the richest man in the world. It looks like Warren Tufts wanted to challenge Uncle Scrooge...

And this artwork is huge! See the additional photos from the pages 5-8 where the artwork is next to the printed Pink Panther #65.

This artwork was sold by Heritage Auctions in 2018 and I acquired complete story later in 2 parts from an European gallery. First I got pages 4-8 and 1.5 years later the first 4 pages :-)

I really love the concept of having complete story, not just single pages, however most of collectors are happy with single artwork. Finding a complete story is very rare happening in collectors markets, just try to find any complete story! And for me a complete set is more like storing our pop culture in the way a museum should do.
Naturally any complete story should be much more valuable than pages sold separately, but this is just my 2c ;-) Just compare how rare complete sets are vs single pages from any artists' productions.
