Firebreather by Steven Butler

I saw Steven Butler at a local comic shop recently, and asked him to contribute to my Firebreather sketchbook. I told him to take the sketchbook home and take his time with it. About two days later, Steven finished this gorgeous piece! Steven delivered an awesome-looking Duncan flying over a burning city, with gorgeous colors and linework! I did scan this piece, but I was not satisfied with how the oranges kept turning red no matter how much I played with it in Photoshop, so instead I'm uploading a picture. Big thanks to Steven for his always amazing efforts on these commissions!

Digging all the hues of yellow to red in the figure as well as that multi-colored space background! Fiery add, Travis, congrats!

The colors are so vibrant that they blaze from corner to corner! What a fantastic entry into the sketchbook! The back of this page must be saturated with color!
