Description

As is usually true, when this drawing was sold at auction in August 2024, it was misattributed as being the work of Tom Wood while it was certainly the work of Hank Porter. I don't understand why anyone still is unable to determine who of only three major Disney publicity artists from the 1930s drew what.

Goofy the bashful type is classic Disney showing emotions that other animation studios wouldn't be able to as effectively. Look at that body language!
