Description

Day 15. Thirty-one days of Star Wars (2025 edition).

Today's post is sequential pencil pages by Steven Cummings from the premiere issue of the adaptation of the first season of Ahsoka. Wayne Faucher inked over printed blue lines on separate boards.

Ahsoka Tano has returned to a briefing room, but Sabine Wren has already left with a special map despite Tano's instructions for the map to remain there. In the meantime, Wren rides her speeder bike back to the old communications tower she calls home. A probe droid pops out from behind a signal crossing and reports back to Shin Hati and two HK assassin droids, standing miles away on a hilltop. Once Sabine arrives at the communications tower, she gathers documents and activates a holoprojector studying the star map. She informs Murley, her Loth-cat, that she's looking for a key.

I love how clear the pencils are, and how effectively it immeditaely brings to mind the series. Fantastic interior and exterior shots. I'd love to know what happens on the next page...

What a cute thank you card that Steven included! as always love his pencils on these Star Wars TV adaptation books he has been doing, and a very memorable sequence from the premiere episode. Can't wait for Season 2!
