In my humble opinion, Hitman was Garth Ennis’s greatest work. Not Preacher, not The Boys. THERE I SAID IT. Hitman is a tale of brotherhood set in the DC universe. You have the likes of Batman, Superman and Green Lantern running around from time to time and crazy stories like the Zombie Zoo. This was an amazing read and I cannot recommend it enough!

This issue of Hitman won the Eiser award for best single issue and you get to see our protagonist giving Superman a counselling session right before he executes a hit. Great stuff!

A crossover that is unlikely, but one that only Ennis would undetake. McCrea's art brings a darkness to Superman we rarely get to see.
