Description100% Pure Classic Ditko Spidey Battle pageEverything I looked for in an ideal Ditko example... So rare to find a Ditko page where Spidey is engaging with a classic villian in every single panel..with classic Spidey banter and both he and the Villian utilizing their powers.. Scorpion is one of my favorite Classic Spidey villains and a great aspect of it is due to his origin... The Scorpion was created to be the ultimate predator of Spider-man..As the Scorpion is a natural predator of Spiders..and so he was created ot be stronger faster deadlier... and perhaps the two things Spider-man had over Scorpion was his intellect and his supreme agility..Otherwise the Scorpion was literally designed to be the perfect predator of Spider-man..making him very tough for Spidey to beat. Great to own a piece of one of his early battles with one of his more deadly foes. thanks to AE for the Art-slinging Assist in making this acquisition possible. Social/Sharing |

Web Balls are universally loved...and somehow I think he got the idea from Kraven...Spidey didnt want to be only one that could attack someone their Bolas

Any Ditko Spider-Man page would be a monumental achievement - and this page goes much further that that! Many congratulations not only on this page but on a truly stellar and historical collection of original comic artwork.
