Description

Jonny Quest has always been so much fun over the years, so I was excited to hear that Dynamite was going to launch a new series! Here's the cover that Richard Pace did for the first issue, featuring Jonny, Hadji, and of course, Bandit!! I like how Richard went back in time with the calendars, all the way to when the first episode of Jonny Quest aired in September 1964... Jonny hasn't aged a bit in 60 years!!

Love the Quest #1 cover.
Look for Venture Brothers episodes to see how Jonny aged. Not well….

Pace references the Wildey era perfectly to spin this to nostalgic appeal for fans who know Jonny best from the animation of the 60's.

A great cover concept, especially for a first issue. Cool to see Pace havign to draw in a style completely different from his own, too!
