Description

This Cover is one of my favorite covers of the Bronze Age. It’s one of those special images that continues to draw me to magically be entranced and empowered by looking at it.. Each character being extremely powerful and yet at the center of it all is the Master of the Mystic Arts..Mountainous in size, Majestic, and Menacing

Frank Brunner is one of the highest level fine artists to ever draw comics. Seeing his art up close the level of detail and skill involved in his art is truly at the highest levels..

His Realistic style gave an entirely different look and feel to characters bringing them to life with such dramatic inner detail shadowing and I again say the words SKILL and FINE as he himself is a Master of the fine art of Comic ART.

This Doctor Strange cover of course is an iconic image that’s been reproduced many times with this dramatic composition and battle image..We get it all here with this most memorable and striking cover..

Really a fantastic piece. Congrats on it. Love the huge Dr. Strange. Brunner really is the preemenent Dr. Strange artist. The facial expression, the hands, the perspective. All terrific.

Agreed he is known across the cosmos as THE Dr. Strange Artist..yes every detail from the composition to contouring ..if ever there was a place for an artist to make a name for himself it was upon this mystical stage

Yes..Each of these early Brunner covers have immense appeal each for diff reasons and yea this one stands out so much...Lots of reason for it to be a favorite

The 1 is an all time classic. But this cover is just so good. Love the inking and layout here of the Defenders coming at the good doctor!!!!

Yes the inking is otherworldly like no one could possibly do this but Brunner the lines are beyond this dimension ..Agreed and the elements of this cover keep is continuing to gaze upon it and the action
