Description

With the backgrounds and speech bubbles put in digitally, this is a rather sparse original page, but I would have purchased it for the first panel alone. The intensity and detail in that face are everything I could want in a piece of John Cassaday's artwork.

A page from Planetary has been on my "to get someday" list since I began collecting original comic art. After I heard about Cassaday's passing, I knew that acquiring his work wasn't going to get any easier moving forward. So, I reached out to Albert Moy to purchase this and a couple of other pieces.

My deepest condolences to John Cassaday's family and friends. The comic world has lost a giant, but that pales in comparison to what has been lost by those who knew him best.
