DescriptionThis is my favorite page from the book.Heartbroken after discovering the girl he was seeing arranged for the Absorbing Man to (unsuccessfully) break off a piece off his skin, Ben uses all his might to pry off a piece himself. But not just any piece… the piece right on top of his heart. Maybe I’m a sucker for this kind of stuff, but I can’t think of a more fitting ending than him giving her his broken heart. And Kano’s brilliant body language and facial expressions make it all the more impactful. “The last coupla weeks were really great, Jennifer. I… I actually thought you were my friend.” Poor Ben.
