Description

From day 1, I've been a fan of Doc's look. I think part of that was his khaki uniform stood out against the typical green ones. It didn't hurt that Doc was often the voice of reason, too! Pat Olliffe is a top notch artist and I've always kind of wanted him to draw Doc for me but I was worried that Doc isn't that exciting of a character, well I was wrong! Pat made Doc jump off the page and I love it! Yo Joe!

A great Hama creation. Seeing the Joe's doctor as an African American meant a lot to young kids of all colors. He might not be Roadblock nor Stalker, but Doc was held in high esteem back at Fort Wadsworth or in the often hazardous strike team missions.

The physical appearance of Carl "Doc" W. Greer was based on that of Hasbro toy designer Khipra Nichols. Khipra is another real american hero for millions of kids!
