DescriptionAlways felt that the cover to Rom #50 should have better represented the important events of the story - Starshine morphs into her new form and Torpedo is killed by the wraiths. (The original cover had a spectral Rom watching over a battle between the Dire Wraiths and Skrulls). Also nice to replace the "assistant editor's month" corner box (they could be funny, but didn't really fit the somber tone of this issue). I agree I prefer your cover more then the original. If not the one you did the other could had also focused on Starshine new origin/design. With her gaving a solo cover titled rebirth or Starburist. But maybe the candy company might have filed yet another lawsuit. Was always a huge Torpedo fan too sigh.

Torpedo was such a great addition to the comic, it was a bummer to have his demise be overshadowed by other events like Starshine's transformation.

I actually didn't like so many guest heroes in Rom adter #35 with Subby was ok. And I didn't mind Ant-Man either. I always rather seen more Toroedo and even had Rick Jones join the supporting cast uch earlier too. To me between #36-#45 it felt like rom was guest starring in his own title. Instead of staying more focusted on Rom, Starshine, Torpedo and Rick Jones. As well as the people of Clintonville, WV. It actually is in PA.
